Daniela has been an outstanding employee since March 07. She goes the extra mile for the Clayground art studio over & over again. She has made herself available on the spur of the moment many times. Occasionally people sign up for class the same day it’s scheduled to start. Daniela has cancelled personal appointments last minute to be available to teach when this has happened.
Daniela, also known as Donnie, understands how to adjust & combine art mediums to make a class interesting with quality & creativity. Before Daniela became an employee, she volunteered at the Clayground & showed patience & understanding in working with special needs students.
She works at the Clayground every Saturday & is in college full time majoring in art. She would like to be an art teacher for children although she enjoys working with both adults & children. She tries to set aside extra hours during the week to help out with parties & classes. She has all the necessary abilities in clay construction, drawing & painting so can teach almost every class. She makes herself available to do demonstrations & is willing to help at outside agencies where we teach.
She’s very dependable, has endless patience & works well with individuals of all ages & abilities. Donnie is quick to offer her help in any situation. She has a good attitude & is always willing to learn. She is a terrific employee & deserves recognition for all of her efforts in making River Trails Park District a wonderful place for our community.
