Monster Bash

Wear your best costume to our annual Halloween event to join in the fun as we decorate pumpkins,
trick or treat through our homemade town and play carnival games.

Jump in our photo booth to take some fun pictures with family and friends.
Halloween entertainment, Pumpkin Carving Contest (info below)
and more fun activities to enjoy!

If inclement weather activities will be moved inside the Weiss Center.

Friday, October 21 • 4–7 pm
Woodland Trails Park

  • Pumpkin Carving Contest – Register by October 20.
    • Out-BOO your neighbors by entering the River Trails Park District 1st Halloween Pumpkin Carving Contest.
    • All displays will be shown and judged by the community at the Monsters Bash event, Friday October 21, between 4-6:30pm.
    • Winners will receive a gift basket and a picture of their creation displayed on our Facebook page which includes all bragging rights.
    • Register by Thursday, October 20! One carved pumpkin entry per registration.

    • All displays must be dropped off by 2:00pm on Friday, October 21 to the Weiss Community Center along with a name for your display.
    • Prizes will be awarded on Friday, October 21 at 7:00pm at the Monsters Bash Event.
    • All registration proceeds go to the River Trails Park District Foundation, Send a Kid to Camp.
