Update on Burning Bush Park

We want to update the community on the progress of Burning Bush Trails Park as we wind down the summer season. Dynamo Playgrounds, who is supplying the last part of our playground puzzle, has been severely hampered by COVID-19 with significant delays of raw materials and warehouse production. The good news is that the playground is almost finished but still remains in Canada. We anticipate the playground pieces arriving mid-September, with assembly then taking 2 weeks. Although not optimal, we have decided to keep the entire playground and court area closed during this time, and then open it all together once the fantastic Dynamo structure is assembled.

The walking path will continue to be closed until November to complete germination around the path area; then the fence will be moved to the interior of the path allowing public access. The baseball/soccer fields will remain closed but will be available late summer 2021.

Thank you for your patience and excitement with this wonderful new addition to our park district. We are looking forward to heading towards these final stages of progress.
